High TSH levels

Asked by: 3522 views Uncategorized

Hi, I am 24 years old. My T3 and T4 level are well within the biological range but my TSH level is high(8.26). What does this indicate ? I have not been gaining or losing weight since 2 years. I sleep a lot. I get tired easily. I am suffering from body aches. I am losing hair too. Does all these have something to do with thyroid?

What you have is called Subclinical Hypothyroid. Hair fall may be due to other causes i.e. anemia/ dandruff etc. Exercise regularly and lose weight if obese. Meet your doctor for line of treatment
